Notification for recruitment of Assistant Professors in Law

  • Two Full-time posts in Law

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the regular posts of Assistant Professors in Law at JSS Law College, Mysuru.

1.Eligibility

Candidates must possess the qualifications prescribed for the post by the applicable UGC Regulations, Bar Council of India Rules of Legal Education, University statutes and other applicable rules, as amended from time to time.

2.Proposed minimum qualification for confirmation before publication:

LL.M. with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade), together with NET/SET/SLET or a Ph.D. qualification where the applicable regulations provide an exemption. Relaxations, equivalency and eligibility shall be determined under the rules applicable to the institution and the relevant category.

Candidates should have a strong academic record and the ability to teach and undertake academic or research work in the relevant area of law. Relevant teaching, research, publications and professional experience may be considered as prescribed by the applicable rules.

3.Pay and appointment

Pay scale as per JSS MVP Rules

Probation/tenure and other service conditions: As prescribed by the applicable rules and the terms of appointment.
